Experience the warmth of the sauna while taking in stunning coastal views from our panoramic oceanfront setting. Designed for privacy, the sauna area includes a secluded deck, sitting area and private fire bowl, creating a peaceful space to fully unwind.

For a true hot-and-cold experience, cool down between sauna rounds with our cold dunk shower. Alternating heat and cold is one of the most invigorating parts of the sauna ritual and makes the experience especially refreshing in the cooler months.

Booking is simple through our online system, with options for private or community bookings for up to eight people.

And if that’s not enough, you can extend your stay with our Qualicum Bay private beach cabins or RV sites, and explore everything the surrounding Oceanside has to offer, from natural coastal beauty to old-growth forests.

  1. How do I book a sauna?

    Through our online booking calendar, which you can find right here.

  2. Do I get the sauna to myself when I book?

    It depends! We provide both community and private booking options. Community bookings offer eight "public access" spots. Private bookings allow you to reserve the sauna for a group of up to 8 people.

  3. How long do the sauna sessions last?

    Community bookings are for 90 minutes. Private bookings are available for either 90 minutes or 3 hours.

  4. Is there an age restriction for the sauna?

    Yes. Sauna sessions are only available for individuals aged 18 and above. Children aged 12 and over may attend with adult supervision.

  5. What is the maximum capacity of the sauna?

    The sauna can accommodate a maximum of 8 people.

  6. Can I buy a gift card for the barrel sauna?

    Yes, you can! We provide digital gift cards in any denomination, which can be purchased through our sauna booking calendar.

  7. Where do I park?

    If you are not staying at ROAM Beach Resort as a guest at our cabins or RV sites we ask that you park on the street, off site.
